Studies show that children that read are more successful and have more promising futures. Reading to children illustrates the importance of reading themselves.

Story Hours

Logan County Public Libraries offers two story hours each week. Story hours are offered at the central library. Story hour times are:

Fridays	Russellville Central Library	10:00 A.M.
Fridays	Russellville Central Library	1:30 P.M.

COMPUTERS

The central library and all three branches have computers for public use. These computers have Internet access and many software applications including many children's educational programs. The library has a computer use policy that is checked out to each person requesting access to a computer. Computers are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a 30-minute limit on computer use when others are waiting.

PHOTO COPIES

The central library and all three branches have copiers for public use. Copies cost 15 cents per page for regular size paper and 20 cents per page for legal size paper and 25 cents per page for 11 x 17 paper. The library does strictly enforce all copyright laws.

FAX SERVICE

The library and all three branches offer fax service. The cost for sending and receiving is $1.00 per page.

EQUIPMENT

The central library has various pieces of equipment that can be checked out for public use. Among these are slide projectors, projection screens, data projector, and overhead projector. This equipment is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

NOTARY PUBLIC

All full-time and branch staff members are notary publics. This is a free service to our community. Stop by the central library with picture identification and we will gladly notarize your papers.
